Flying without bike fees

The latest trend in bicycle flight cases seems to be compact and stealthy, so not only do you avoid having to pay a fee just because it's a bicycle, but could actually manage to avoid the oversize baggage fee as well! Great idea - and I'd feel a lot more secure about not advertising that I'm travelling with expensive gear.
