New app for tinnitus

I've seen this link going around quite a bit on the Interwebs, I suffer from pretty bad tinnitus (probably from a life spent at venues with very loud music) that seems to come and go. Any kind of treatment would be quite welcome.

The app has been listed as "coming soon" for quite a while. The price seems awfully high, but it might be worth it. Has anyone else tried this "notch therapy" for tinnitus?
