This is quite incredible, the Canyon/Sram Women's Team (you know, the ones with the jerseys that everyone wants) is holding try-outs on Zwift for their 2017 team. It was announced during the TDU Ride-Along hosted by Canyon/Sram pro rider Tiffany Cromwell. There’s no need to sharpen your CV, though, all you need to do is get on Zwift and demonstrate your potential. The search for the new recruit through the popular Zwift virtual reality training website will begin in March 2016, with female amateur riders from around the world invited to try-out. Ronny Lauke is the Canyon//SRAM team director. "The world is full of young cyclists with raw talent that we may not be noticing,” he adds. “That’s a huge problem for the sport and we want to challenge this as much as possible. Build strength and make friends as you participate in Group Training Rides and complete Zwift Academy Workouts with the CANYON//SRAM Racing team and women from around the world.
Group Training Rides
CANYON//SRAM Racing and Zwift community members will lead multiple group rides every week.
Riders must join a total of at least 9 Zwift Academy training rides to qualify.
Zwift Academy Workouts
A Zwift Academy specific workout plan with 27 workouts beginning and ending with an FTP Test.
